Google Hackathon, SG
We're back! Google is back in Singapore on June 16th, 2pm-10pm to host a hackathon focused on Social and Geo in the Cloud. There will be quick introductory talks, but plenty of time to get into teams and hack on new ideas.
- Developer Advocates Patrick Chanezon and Pamela Fox will be back to to talk about the new things going on with OpenSocial & FriendConnect and the Google Maps API.
- Get ready to work! You'll have a chance to brainstorm application ideas and form into teams with your fellow attendees. Come with your friends or make some new ones while hacking on an application with the experts standing by to answer questions.
- You should be comfortable with JavaScript and have some familiarity with OpenSocial, the Google Maps API, and Google App Engine to be the most productive during the event.
- You won't go hungry -- dinner and refreshments will be provided :)
- There will be some swag and prizes to teams who have the best ideas and working applications.
